Class of 2026 - Senior Class

The Senior Dues are $250 through 12/24/25.

Graduation Date: TBD at the Gas South Arena.

*The arena will have a clear bag-only policy for all guests.

The practice date is TBD at South Gwinnett High School.

• Mandatory to walk in the ceremony
• Do not bring your cap & gown to the practice
• Meet in South Gwinnett Commons
• Dress code is still enforced

Bring any items you need to return (books, Chromebooks, calculators, etc.).  All senior dues and all outstanding school fees (chrome books, parking, library, textbooks, etc.) must have been paid by the practice date @ Scholastic Images.

Tickets: Tickets will be given out at the graduation practice/meeting.

• Each graduating senior will receive 10 tickets
• Each graduating senior Must show picture I.D. to receive tickets
• Graduation tickets can be withheld from seniors who are not on track to graduate, or have outstanding technology,  books, fees, fines, and/or items.

Each senior who has paid dues will receive the same amount of graduation tickets.  Seniors will need to show a photo ID and sign for their tickets. 

Graduates MUST arrive two hours prior to the event or they will not be able to walk.

• Doors open for family and friends one hour before the ceremony.
• Handicap seating is available.
• Be aware of traffic and how it will affect your travel time.

Seniors will receive a parking pass at practice for their car.  Parents and seniors may ride together.

If Parents/Guests are in a separate car, they will need to pay for parking. NO CASH.  It would be easiest to prepay on the Gas South Arena website.

Arena Map

• Do not bring in cell phones. They will be confiscated. Those confiscated will be available for pick up at South Gwinnett High School after Memorial Day.

• The only items seniors may bring into the arena are cap, gown, and one car key.

• If other items are brought in they will be collected and can be picked up at the school during the week following graduation.  This includes cell phones. We recommend leaving all other belongings at home or in your car to save you the time of having to retrieve them from school at a later date.

• Please do not wear your gown in; simply drape it over your arm. You can put on the gown after you go through security.

• Before graduation, you should remove your cap and gown and hang it up so most of the wrinkles fall out. Only use a cool iron if necessary.

• All students will walk into the Arena with a cap and gown in hand so that clothing can be checked.

• Do not decorate your caps/gowns. All caps and gowns must be plain.

Gas South Arena Staff and South Gwinnett Faculty will assist the graduates with exiting the floor of the arena by rows. Families need to arrange a meeting place off-site of the arena. Congregating/gathering is not allowed on arena property. Please plan to meet off-site. If you rode with your graduate to the ceremony, please meet at your car and leave after the ceremony.  If there is an issue with behavior during the ceremony from students who are attendees, they will be escorted out of the arena
