Media Center

Hours of Operation

The Library Media Center is open from 6:45am-2:45am.  Students are welcomed to use the library during the instructional day with a valid pass from his/her teacher.  The media center is also open to students during his/her assigned lunch block.  Students do not need a pass during the assigned lunch block, but he/she must be in the media before the late bell and stay during the duration.

Mission Statement

The  SGHS Media Center staff is dedicated to having a place where students can gather to read, research, use technology and collaborate.  We support the Gwinnett County curriculum with resources AND collaborative sessions that foster 21st Century critical thinking and learning skills, while providing students with the resources they need to achieve their academic goals.
